New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP and BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade addressed the Hon’ble Railway Minister during the zero hours of the ParliamentSession in Rajya Sabha at New Delhi on Thursday. Mr. Tanavade expressed grave concerns about the prolonged cancellation of Local Passenger Trains No. 07380 and 07379, which operate from Vasco to Collem in Goa. The disruption is a consequence of the ongoing Railway doubling project.
The extended cancellation of these vital train services is causing significant difficulties for the residents of Collem, Kalay, and surrounding villages in South Goa. The impact is particularly severe on students, workers, employees, and domestic passengers, leading to substantial hardships.
In light of these challenges, Mr. Tanavade urgently requests attention to this matter without further delay. The affected communities are facing considerable hardships, and a swift resolution is essential to alleviate their difficulties.
Mr. Tanavade urges the concerned authorities to prioritize and expedite the regularization of these trains to restore normalcy.
