Panaji, June 14 : Congress on Wednesday appealed people of Goa to join their Yatra on June 18, revolution Day, from Donapaula to Azad Maidan Panaji to raise the voice against inflation, unemployment and other issues pertaining state. Youth Congress Secretary incharge for Goa Richi Bhargawa addressed press conference and said that BJP government has failed on all aspects. GPCC General Secretary Vijay Bhike, Kenisha Menezes,Mahesh Nadar,Rinaldo Rosario and Devsurbhee Yaduvanshi were present.

“BJP government has been failure in Goa. It ranks second in the unemployment. There is no control on inflation. Poll promise of providing three free LPG cylinders is not delivered. It doesnt have strategy to create jobs,” She said. “Scams in Smart city projects are ignored and government doesnt dare to face probe. BJP is running away from the questions asked over corruption and scams. It is their habit. This we saw when Rahul Gandhi questioned government over Adani issue and for raising that issue he was disqualified from Loksabha” Hence I appeal youths, women and all people to join this yatra and raise their voice, which we will discuss,” Richi Bhargawa said.

She said that Bharat Jodo Yatra by Rahul Gandhi got best response and as part of it in Goa they will hold yatra on revolution day. Vijay Bhike said that BJP has not paid heed to the voices of the public, but Rahul Gandhi has done it during his yatra and on other occasions.

“Government has failed to provide jobs to the youths. In last nine years BJP has done nothing , still they are celebrating. Corruption has taken place in Smart city project but government is not ready to investigate it. This proves how they are involved in scams and corruption,” Bhike said. He also appealed people to join this Yatra on Revolution Day.
