Students of Don Bosco College of Engineering along with faculty during their visit at Cyber Crime Police station at Ribandar

As a part of Science Study Trip. around 65 Third Year students of Don Bosco College of Engineering with their Faculty members visited Cyber Forensic Laboratory and Cyber Crime Police Station at Ribandar on Tuesday.

The aim of the trip was to study the types of Cyber Crime taking place in Goa, their Modus Operandi and Prevention and also to know the use of technology in the investigation of Cyber Crime Cases.

Accordingly PI Vidyanand Pawar from Cyber Crime Police Station briefed all the students on Cyber Crime and Cyber Security with some practical sessions on Mobile Safety Tips. They were also informed about the various Forensic tools used in the investigation of Cyber Crime Cases. Overall feedback from the students was very encouraging and Fruitful.

 Dy SP Ashish Shirodkar (Cyber Crime)  also interacted with the faculty members for their innovative suggestions. Cyber Crime under the supervision of  Cyber Crime  SP  Rahul Gupta has been very active in organizing the various awareness session for students,  teachers parents,  women, Police personnel Security agencies and others.
