The Directorate of Agriculture in collaboration with the State Agriculture Management & Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Goa today organized the induction training programme for the newly appointed apprentices under the Goa Chief Minister Apprenticeship Scheme for Government establishment-2023   which is the part of National Apprenticeship Promotion programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Director of Agriculture Shri. Nevil Alphonso congratulated all the apprentices for getting an opportunity to work in the Agriculture Department. He said this opportunity will definitely help you all to build your career and also urged all the apprentices to keep a positive attitude while working in the Department.

Total 36 youths participated in the induction training programme. Shri Nevil Alphonso also distributed the posting letters to the 36 apprentices  who had registered online under  opportunities available for the posts of Software Developer, Programme and Systems Administrative Assistant, Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Accounts Executive aNd Agriculture Field Officer in the Directorate of Agriculture.

          The Training programme focused on imparting the right set of Knowledge, Skill and Attitudes in order to enable them to contribute to achieve the goals of overall administration.

Shri. Nitin Bakhale Dy, Director SAMETI, Goa, Shri Yogiraj Govavi, Deputy Director (Admin),   Smt Jyoti Satardekar Office Superintendent were also present on the occasion.
