A jeep  of  driver, Ashok Iragappa, which  crashes into protective wall of drain

PONDA: A jeep driver died after the vehicle crashed into the protective wall of a drain at the junction near the underpass in Dhavali. According to information, the driver, Ashok Iragappa (50), a native of Kamataka but residing at Old Goa, lost control of the jeep while driving the jeep and crashed into the protective wall.

Locals moved the driver to the Ponda Sub-District Hospital in a 108 ambulance, but he was declared dead on arrival. It is suspected that the driver suffered a heart attack while driving the jeep and the cause of death will be clear after the post-mortem examination. Ponda police are investigating the incident.
