PANAJI: FC Goa star Sahil Tavora visited Kick Off Football Schools’ (KOFS) St Cruz Centre, engaging with over 40 young football enthusiasts. The session included exciting 4v4 matches, an interactive Q&A where Tavora shared insights into his footballing journey, and a memorable autograph and photo session.
Tavora emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and passion in achieving success. The event left the young players motivated, reinforcing the grassroots mission of KOFS to nurture and inspire the next generation of footballers.
“I was very happy to be here at Kick Off Football Schools. It’s great to see young kids, along with their parents, coming to train every day. Kids as young as 5 years old—it’s a great age to start. Hopefully, some will go on to become professional footballers, not just in the ISL but even further. I had a nice time interacting with the kids and wish KOFS all the best,” said Sahil while addressing the media.
Andrea Fernandes, founder of KOFS, thanked the students, parents, and the entire KOFS family for making the event a memorable one.
KOFS head coach Jonas Fernandes highlighted that the session with Sahil was an excellent opportunity for all trainees to learn, ask questions, and be inspired by someone who has worked hard to reach the professional level.
“We had an interactive session with Sahil Tavora. Kids from both, our Sunshine and St Cruz centres came together. They were thrilled to have Sahil at the center, asking him lots of questions and enjoying the chance to take photos and get autographs. Sahil shared his journey and answered their questions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for the kids and something they can learn from,” said Jonas.
The session ended on a high note, with both the kids and their parents delighted to meet the FC Goa star.
