The song is sung by well known vocalist from Goa Shri Akshay Naik. Shri Sudesh Salgaonkar of Nirbhay Bhav dance academy has choreographed the song which was shot at the multiporpuse hall of Sant Soirobanath Ambiye Government college, Pernem.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Dhond said that the audio for this Ganpati song is undoubtedly one of the best I have heard in a long time. I hope and pray that this song becomes the anthem for Ganesh Chaturthi this year. He lauded the efforts of Shri Joe D’Costa and John Aguiar.
He said that his desire is for people to embrace this Ganesh Chaturthi spirit and immerse themselves in the upcoming festive fever in Goa and across the nation.

The Ganesh murthi was provided by Umakant Poke of Morjim, Pernem.

Shri D’Costa who is also the arranger and music director of the song says that he was inspired by his childhood days in Curchorem when he and his friends would go to the local temple, Maruthigad to study. “Situated on a hillock, the temple was and still is amidst greenery, and is an extremely peaceful place, calm and silent. We would sit in front of the Ganesh idol and study to get through the final exams. It was our belief that if we study in the temple, we would not fail in our exams,” he says.
“I am grateful to John. If it was not for him, this project wouldn’t have been possible. John put his heart and soul to get the sponsors, artistes for shoot and the setup,” he added.

Shri Aguiar said that keeping up with the current trend, he has started writing devotional songs as new-age bhajans. “This is my sixth song on Ganesha including one in Hindi and one in Marathi. Ganesh Chaturthi holds a special place in my heart as I have been celebrating it at my home for the past 10 years.
