Panaji – It is a shame that the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant who also holds the Home Portfolio is clearly admitting his helplessness in taking action against the Fake Dentists operating in Goa. Goa is now emerging as “Quack Destination” under “Fake in India” mission of the BJP Government, charged Congress Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar.
Reacting sharply to the statement made by the Chief Minister at the inaugural function of Goa State Indian Dental Association Conference admitting that Fake Dentists are fleecing tourists along coastal belt, Amarnath Panjikar condemned the BJP Government for its failure to act against such Doctors.
I suspect that the Fake Dentists & Quacks are operating in Goa with the Blessings of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. The Chief Minister has no guts to act against them as Dr. Pramod Sawant is scared of Health Minister. Let the Chief Minister prove me wrong by acting against Fake Dentists and Quacks. It is my open challenge to him, stated Amarnath Panjikar.
Why the Chief Minister wants the Goans to complain against such fake Dentists and Quacks? Why the Chief Minister who holds the Home Portfolio cannot ask the Police to act against them? questioned Amarnath Panjikar.
The Chief Minister statement exposes the fact that the Government Authorities have no mechanism in place to verify the credentials of the Medical Practitioners operating in Goa. Who stops the Authorities to check the Academic Degrees and Registration Certificates of the Medical Practitioners? Questioned Amarnath Panjikar.
Prime Minister of India must reward Goa for implementing “Fake in India” in Health Sector. Kudos to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. There is complete chaos not only in Health Sector but in the entire Administration, stated Amarnath Panjikar.
