The first edition of the Goa Environmental Film Festival will be held from June 3 to 5 at Maquinez Palace Auditorium I and II at Panjim, on the sidelines of the G20 meetings. As June 5th is also World Environment Day, the festival is based on themes including environment, sustainable living, community life, biodiversity, solutions to plastic solutions and water conservation. The festival is open to public and registration is free at www. Goaeff.in. Protocol and Nodal officer for G20 of Goa secretary Sanjit Rodriugues and Minister for Environment and Climate Change Nilesh Cabral, who will inaugurate the festival on June 3 at 10.30 am, gave details about the festival.
