Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant handed over the Lease Deed to M/s Nathurmal Eco Minerals Private Limited in respect of new minor mineral found in Goa namely Calcium Bentonate (non–swelling). This minor mineral is also known as Multani Mitti or Fullers Earth. This has various uses in Ayurvedic preparations, edible oils, wine making, health and wellness, construction, waste management, agriculture, animal feed etc. It may be recalled that Government had signed a lease deed with the same company in March 2022 for another newly found minor mineral in the State namely Dolomite.
