GOA POSTAL DIVISION RELEASES SPECIAL CANCELLATION OF CONSTITUTION DAY
PANAJI: The Goa Postal Division released a special cancellation on “The Constitution Day” in the hands of chief guest, Dr N Vinodkumar, Postmaster General, Goa Region, Panaji, on Thursday, on the occasion of Constitution Day.
Dr Sudhir G Jakhere, senior superintendent of Post Offices, Goa Division. Dr M R Ramesh Kumar, president, Goa Philatelic and Numismatic Society (GPNS) Goa and Postal Officials were present for the function held at the Tapal Bhavan, conference hall, Panaji.
This special cancellation on “The Constitution Day” will be impressed upon all the articles posted at the Panaji Head Post Office in the Goa Division only on November 26.
“We hope that this special cancellation will highlight the importance to create the awareness among public regarding The Constitution Day,” said Dr Sudhir G Jakhere.
