Goa Swayampurna 2.O focuses on skilling, re-skilling and up skilling to train youths, women under various sector and corporation such as ITI, Handicraft Polytechnic said Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant. He was speaking at the virtual interaction with all the municipalities and Panchayats on the ocassion of his 50th birthday at Saligao Panchayat Hall today.

CM congratulated Swayampurna Mitras,Sarpanchas, Nodal officers and panch members for the successful implementation of Swayampurna Goa and appreciated their hard work since the launch as the objective is to reach to the last section of the society. Skilled man power is much needed and Government scheme such as start up, Solar Policy, IT Policy should reach to all the villages he added. Stressing on the quote “Sabka Saath SabkaVishwas Sabka Prayas” CM said everyone should make an attempt to make Goa Swayampurn .Common Service Centre will be set up in 410 revenue villages which will help the people to avail array of government services he informed. Under Swayampurna Goa Flagship program, focusing on 10 key points such as housing for all, sanitation for all social security, equipment for Divyangs we succeeded in reaching almost 98 percent of the people he added.

Shri Kedar Naik,MLA Saligao wished CM On his 50th birthday and said it is proud moment as CM himself has addressed the grievances of the people of Saligao as Swayampurn Mitra.

As a Swayampurna Mitra, Chief Minister also participated in Seva Sushasan and Jan kalyan programme organized by Saligoa Panchayat and interacted with the people of Saligao to understand and solve their grievances.

CM also handed over sanction letters to beneficiaries of Gram Shethi on this occasion .
