Mandovi Parivar Canacona Clinches Maker Man’s Trophy Canacona Taluka in Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament 2023 by defeating Mega Boys Paingin. The tournament was organised by Makermen’s sports & Cultural club at Paingin Canacona. Altogether 16 teams from Canacona Taluka participated in the same.
The final match was played of two innings between Mandovi Boys v/s Mega Boys. After winning the toss, Mega Boys decided to Bat first. In first 5 overs team scored 57 runs by loosing 2 wickets. In reply, Mandovi boys scored 110 runs in 5 overs by loosing 1wkt. In 2nd inning Mega boys scored 61runs in 5 overs. Mandovi boys reached the target in 2 overs by loosing 1wkt. Match won by Mandovi Boys.
The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 30000/- and trophy while the Runners-up pocketed Rs. 20000/- and trophy. For prize distribution function, Dr. Vikas Pawaskar was the chief guest. Also present were Shri Bhushan Prabhugaonkar, Shri Dilkush Shet, Shri Pandhari Satarkar, Shri Ashutosh Bandekar, Panch, Smt. Supriya Pagi, Panch. Shri Arun Bhat president of the club welcomed the guest and gathering, Shri Anil Kamat compared the function and proposed vote of thanks.
