HARVALEM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that over the past decade, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has certainly strengthened his s connection with the people. Sawant was speaking after tuning into 114th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programe of prime minister from Harvalem, Sankhali.
Sawant mentioned that in today’s address the PM highlighted the significance of traditional herbal medicine which is also an integral part of Goa’s rich heritage , adding that the state’s lush forests are endowed with an abundance of such herbs, and that its time to revive these practices to benefit everyone.
Sawant also encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of Vocal for Local due to approaching of festive celebrations like Navratri and Diwali and empower women through support for self help groups.
