IT WAS CAUGHT AT THE BUS STAND.*
That on 16.08.2024 Mapusa Police Station Crime No. 115/2024 U/Sec 21 (c) of NDPS
Act registered upon complaint of PSI Yeshwant Mandrekar attached to Mapusa Police
Station who had conducted narcotic raid on 16.08.2024 between 19.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs
at New KTC bus stand
Mapusa and caught red handed
1 Mr. Ssentamu Elvis ,aged 29
years,Uganda National, having Passport No. A00797133 R/o Pune, Maharashtra who
was found in possession of 103 Grams of Narcotic drug suspected to be Cocaine W/Rs.
10,30,000/-approximately.
And accused No.2 Mr. Umar Lukwago
aged 27 years
having Passport No. A00281141 Uganda National,R/o Pune Maharashtra
who was
found in possession of 102 Grams of Narcotic drug suspected to be Cocaine W/Rs.
10,20,000/-approximately, and other articles which are attached under Panchanama.
The total 205 Grams of Cocaine was seized from both Uganda National W/Rs. 20,50000/-
During the Course of Investigation accused 1 Mr. Ssentamu Elvis , aged 29 years , Uganda
National
having Passport No. A00797133
2 Mr. Umar Lukwago
aged 27 years
having Passport No. A00281141 both Uganda National
arrested on 16.08.2024 and presently in Police Custody.
Investigation is underway to understand their forward and backward linkages. As per the initial investigation it has been revealed that the said contraband substance was being brought from Pune to Goa.
