That on 19/10/2023 complainant Ketan S/o Krushnaji Kulkarni, age 29 years, R/o C/o Ganpat Fatrekar, Usgao Tisk, Ponda Goa, N/o Pirachi Kuroli, Pandharpur, Solapur Maharashtra lodged his complaint to the effect that on 19.10.2023 in between 18.00hrs to 18.15hrs, some unknown accused person/ Culprit committed theft of Hero Splendor+ Xtec Motor Cycle bearing registration No.MH-13-ED-6692 having chassis no. MBLHAW170N5M56928, Engine No. HA11EAN5M32828, Colour BLACK TORNADO GREY, Mfg. Date:- 12/2022, W/Rs 96, 0000/- approximately which is belonging to the complainant and same was parked in an open parking place at Hanuman Temple, Usgao Tisk, Ponda Goa.
In this connection Ponda PS Crime No. 132/2023, U/s 379 IPC was registered.
The investigating team conducted meticulous investigation which included examination of extensive surveillance footage review, to piece together the events surrounding the incident. Their efforts then led to the identification of a suspect and further the suspect namely Mr Sushant s/o Sukdo Gaude, age 24 years r/o H. No 39 Nanus usgao Ponda Goa was apprehended by PC 7358, Sivaji Chavhan and PC 8052, Akshay Gaonkar along with Hero splendour motorcycle bearing registration number MH-13-ED-6692 at Pilliem Dharbandora. During the course of interrogation he admitted to the commission of crime that he had stolen the motorcycle bearing reg. No.MH-13-ED-6692 from Hanuman Temple Tisk Usgao Ponda Goa. The same has been recovered and accused placed under arrest and presently in Police Custody.
The present case is successfully detected by HC- 5455 Keshav Sinari, PC 7358 Shivaji Chavhan and PC 8052 Akshay Gaonkar under the supervision of Shri. Tushar Lotliker, PI Ponda Police Station, and Shri. Ashish Shirodkar SDPO Ponda & Shri Abhishek Dhania, IPS, Superintendent of Police South Goa Margao.
