A Team comprising of Mr Marios from Cyprus India Business Association met GCCI members on 18 MAR 2023 in the Chamber’s Conference room.
Purpose of the Delegation visit was to rejuvenate PWC Cyprus efforts of promoting Cyprus as a Modern EU jurisdiction and its competitive advantages, within the Indian Business Community.
President, Mr Ralph de Sousa along with Past President,Mr Nitin Kunkolienker and Mr Rajesh Dempo held discussions with the Cyprus Delegation.
Mutual Business Interest and Potential Areas of collaboration were discussed. Cyprus is attracting a lot of interest from Investors to set up their holding companies, fund structures and family offices.
Outbound Investments from India to Europe, Inbound Investments to India, Overseas Direct Investments and Overseas Portfolio Investments are some of the strengths of Cyprus


Cyprus is the gateway to the European Union with Tax reforms, Ease of doing business and simplified government regulations complying to EU norms. There is a huge opportunity for India Investors in Cyprus.
The delegation suggested more meetings and collaborations especially with Goa based Industries
GCCI President assured fullest Cooperation and Support to the Cyprus India Business Association and stated that the Chamber will be working towards more mutual business interests between the two nations.
