As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on the occasion of 37th National Games the torch reached at Mapusa Police Station. Representatives of Directorate of Sport and Youth Affairs, Shri Devraj Tari and Ramano Dsouza were present. Representative of Directorate of Sport and Youth Affairs handed over the torch of 37th national Games to SDPO Mapusa, Shri Jivba Dalvi in presence of PI Mapusa Police Station Shri Shitakant N. Nayak and PI Colvale Police Station, Shri Vijay Rane and other staff of Mapusa Sub Division. The torch will be stationed at Mapusa Police Station and journey will continue tomorrow
Mapusa Police Station staff were enthuses to welcome the 37th national Games torch by bursting of fire crackers and poppers. More than 50 staff were present to receive the torch.
SDPO Mapusa, Shri Jivba G. Dalvi said that it was a great honor to receive the torch from the Directorate of Sport and youth affairs.
