Chairman of Goa Rehabilitation Board and Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai said that his constituency will witness 75% voting for the North Goa candidate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He was speaking at the NaMo Yuva Chowpal, 400 Pe Charcha organised by the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha on Wednesday .

The programme was held for the young voters of Cumbarjua constituency at Old Goa.

Present were Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha president Arpita Badajena, former minister Dilip Parulekar, former MLA Sidharth Kuncalienkar, BJYM Goa President Samir Mandrekar, BJP Cumbarjua Mandal Prabhari Chandan Vargaonkar, BJP Cumbarjua Mandal General Secretary Shiva Naik, President BJYM Cumbarjua Hershikesh Kundaiker and General Secretary BJYM Cumbarjua Aghan Bhandare.

The speakers engaged in insightful discussions with our youth, and changed ideas and vision for a progressive nation.

Badajena spoke about the Goa’s popularity, with global events being organised in the progressive state.

“Former Union Defence Minister and Former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had envisioned the Atal Setu, today we are seeing how it has benefitted so many people. This is the achievement of the Modi government. I want to urge the first- and second-time voters that we should not take this success granted. Today, the nation is making history underwater, land as well as in the space,” she said.

In his address, Faldessai spoke about the fast-paced development that Goa has witnessed during the BJP government rule. He urged the young voters to support BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

“Our Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant is working hard to take the state to greater heights. We had our former chief minister Manohar Parrikar who also had a similar style of working. Under the BJP government, Goa has witnessed fast-paced development due to the visionary thinking of such leaders. The future is in the hands of the youth. I strongly feel that 75% of votes of this constituency will be cast for the BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha elections,” he said.

In his address, Mandrekar said that, “The aim of this programme is we are taking suggestions from the first-time voters is to take suggestions on what kind of government they want and what are their expectations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Noteworthy suggestions will be included in the party manifesto that will be unveiled for the Lok Sabha elections.”

Kuncalienkar said that so many achievements in the country are credited to the BJP government under Modi.

“When Make in India initiative was launched, many people ridiculed this. Now, instead we are exporting to countries. Similarly, we have started Startup India. The government is bringing a positive difference in our lives. We have a double-engine sarkar in the form of the Sawant government and Modi government. You have seen a bridge built specifically for farmers in this constituency. This can only be envisioned by the BJP government,” he said.
