MARGAO:   Arogya Bharati Goa Prant in association Ayurveda Rasaani, Pune  will organise a one-day national conference on “Rashastra- Management of Chronic Disease”  at V M  Salgaokar Institute of International Hospitality, Margao on Sunday, January 19 from 9.30 am to 8.30 pm. Nationally and internationally renowned doctors have been invited as speakers for the conference.

Dr  Yogesh Bendale from Pune who  is an expert in cancer and chronic disease management will present his views and evidence-based data on “Rasayana and Cancer Management”.  Dr  Vivek Sane, Director of Punarvasu Hospital, Pune, will present his views on “Chronic Disease Diagnosis, Treatment and Medicine”.  Professor Vaidya Pramod Yadav, All India Institute of Ayurveda, Delhi will be speaking on the topic of “Safety of Metal based Ayurvedic medicines ” and the research done in this regard.

Dr Ashok Varshaney, National Organizing Secretary, Arogya Bharati will be a special guest on the dais. Union Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy  Shripad Yesso Naik will be the Chairman of the inaugural session while Subhash Phal Desai, Minister for Social Welfare, River Navigation, Archaeology and Antiquities, Government of Goa will be the chief guest.

The guest of the valedictory session will be Narendra Sawaikar, Commissioner NRI Affairs.

The conference will be attended by 250 students, doctors from 8 states and more than 50 scientific posters and papers will be presented. At the same time, the chief guest will launch the book “Arogyam” by Arogya Bharati Goa. Allopathic oncologists, gynecologists, Ayurveda, homeopathy, physiotherapists, dentists, and counselors have jointly written this book on lifestyle and how to diagnose diseases on time.

In the evening session, specially invited cancer experts and Ayurvedic doctors from the state will brainstorm ideas on “Bridging Perspectives: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue on Cancer”.

 Arogya Bharati is an organization that is implementing many such initiatives in Goa. Preventive healthcare is the goal of this organization. The organization implements health-related initiatives in many schools and colleges.
