Captain of Ports Department has issued directions for all the barges/boats operating in the Mandovi River near Old Goa from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 pm on September 29, 2023. in view of the field demonstration for participants of 1st National Oceanography Scholarship ‘ Meet Samudra Manthan 23 on board the vessel ‘Princesa De Goa and as per request received from the Principal Scientist, CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula.
All the mentioned Vessels are hereby cautioned to keep a sharp lookout, go slow and if necessary stop at safe distance so as not to cause any hindrance during the above period and strictly adhere to the spot instructions issued by the patrolling boats stationed at the site.
