Anjuna Police have arrested one Liberian National along with drugs.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 20/03/2023 Anjuna Police Station team upon Relaible information conducted a narcotic raid on 20/03/2023 at around midnight hrs at near Splash down water park, Anjuna Goa.
During the raid accused person namely Mr. Julius Beford, age 41yrs. Liberia National, at present R/o Parra, Bardez, Goa was found in possession of 4 grams of Narcotic Drug suspected to be ‘Cocaine’ W/Rs. 60,000/-, approximately.
An offence under section 21(b)of NDPS Act was registered and Accused was placed under arrest.
The raiding team consisted of PSI Dhiraj R. Devidas,, constables Ajinkya P. Ghogale, Mahendra Mandrekar, Rama Parab, Adarsh Nagekar, Jeeven Kinlekar and Amir Phadte.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of Shri. Nidhin Valsan, Superintendent of Police North, Porvorim, Shri. Jivba G. Dalvi, SDPO Mapusa and Shri. Prashal P.N. Dessai, PI Anjuna PS.
