Ponda police recover stolen gold ornaments

PONDA: The Ponda police recovered stolen gold ornaments worth Rs six lakh from Krishna Khadka, Shubham Naik and Sahil Mulla.
The trio had robbed these ornaments after assaulting a goldsmith near KTC bus stand, Ponda a few days ago.  

Two accused persons namely Krishna Khadka from Nepal and Shubham Naik of Ponda were also involved in assaulting ASI Jitendra Gaude with a broken bottle a Curti-Khandepar when a police team had there to arrest them.
