The Department of Information and Publicity celebrated its annual Shree Satyanarayan Mahapuja in the office premises today. The officials attached to the Department celebrated puja with gaiety and enthusiasm. This year, Shri Purushottam H. Parwar, of the Department of Information and Publicity and his spouse Smt Poonam Parwar performed the puja ceremony. The religious rituals began at 9.00 a.m. followed by Aarati, Bhajan, Tirth Prasad and Mahaprasad. The highlight of the puja celebration for this year was the presentation of Bhajan by Srikrishna Nagzarkar, Bal Bhajani Mandal, Nagazar-wada, Bhoma. Whereas, Aarti was presented by the officials of the Department as usual. Like every year several devotees including Media persons and panjimites at large visited the Department to offer prayers and invoke blessings on the occasion of puja.
