Panaji – When Seeta was kidnapped by Ravan, Lord Ram sent Hanuman to Lanka. There the Rakshas of Ravan captured Hanuman and set his long tail on fire. The result of this misadventure was entire Lanka was burnt by Hanuman and Seeta was rescued from the clutches of Ravan. Student Community is like Tail of Lord Hanuman. Students have come together with the power of Lord Hanuman to defeat Ravan Rajya of Narendra Modi led NDA Government, said Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
He was speaking at the Protest organised by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee at Azad Maidan, Panaji. GPCC President Amit Patkar, South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes, NSUI National General Secretary Ahraz Mulla, NSUI President Naushad Chowdhari, Senior Vice President M. K. Shaikh, Maila President Bina Naik, Shambhu Bhau Bandekar, Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar and other Functionaries of Congress and NSUI were present for the protest in large numbers.
Congress President Amit Patkar condemned the BJP Government for its inaction on the NEET Fraud. He demanded that the NEET Examination needs to be re-conducted for all the Students.
South Goa Member of Parliament Capt. Viriato Fernandes assured the Students that Congress Party will raise the issue in the Parliament. Our Leader Rahul Gandhi has already met the Representative of the Students and extended his full support to them.
NSUI State President Naushad Chowdhari announced that the National Students Union of India will “Gherao” the Parliament on 24th June 2024 if the Government fails to act on scrapping the NEET Exams.
Congress Functionaries Tulio de Souza, Gurudas Natekar, Everson Vales, North Goa District President Virendra Shirodkar and Members of NSUI, Goa participated in the protest and did Sloganeering against the Modi led NDA Government for doing Injustice against the Students.
