BONDLA: In a significant stride towards promoting sustainable tourism and fostering a deeper connection with nature, the Sylvan Bondla Ecotourism Cottages were inaugurated by Minister for Forest Vishwajit Rane.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Chairperson of Goa Forest Development Corporation Dr Deviya Rane, PCCF Kamal Datta, Chief Wildlife Warden Praveen Kumar Raghav, Managing Director GFDC Nandkumar Parab, General Manager GFDC Amar, ZP Member Umakant Gawade, and Sarpanch of Usgao Ramnath Dangui.
Nestled in the heart of the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, these cottages mark a pivotal step in Goa’s eco-tourism journey. Designed to harmonize with the lush natural surroundings, the ten well-furnished, air-conditioned cottages offer a serene escape for nature enthusiasts, bird watchers, and those seeking a tranquil retreat.
Visitors can enjoy an all-inclusive package featuring comfortable accommodations, delectable meals, guided nature trails, visits to the Bondla Zoo, and other immersive activities.
The initiative underscores the Goa government’s commitment to balancing tourism development with environmental preservation.
