The Town & Country Planning (TCP) Department of the Government of Goa has partnered with the CII’s Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) to promote sustainable development practices in the state. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shri Rajesh Naik, Chief Town Planner, and Mr. Gurmit Singh Arora, Chairman of IGBC, in the presence of many dignitaries, including MLA Dr. Deviya Rane.

This collaboration aims to integrate green concepts into development plans, policies, and programs in Goa, with CII – IGBC acting as a ‘Sustainability Partner.’ The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone in advancing sustainable urban development, with both parties committed to benefiting the state and its residents.
