Tourism Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte along with GTDC Chairman Shri. Ganesh Gaonkar today inspected the ongoing construction work of Institute of Hotel Management and culinary skills at Farmagudi.

The Minister reviewed the progress of the work with the WRD Chief Engineer Shri. Pramod Badami and Lotus Environment Consultant Shri Ravi Shankar.

During his visit, Shri Rohan Khaunte said that tourism sector generates 35 percent employment to the Goans and it is necessary to improve the skills in hotel industry. He stated that this Hotel Management institute will train 320 students and the number of students can increase to 500. He further emphasized on timely completion of the project and assured that the construction of the institute will be completed within four months.
