PANJIM: Father Henry Falcão, Convenor of the SFX Exposition Committee, has said that wheelchair and buggy services for devotees will be suspended from December 24 to 27.
Speaking to reporters, he said, “The ongoing exposition has been a fruitful experience so far. We are receiving a lot of positive reviews. I only want to inform you that the wheelchair and the buggy service will be stopped for four days from December 24 to 27.”
“Kindly note and do not bring persons who need wheelchair or buggy service. However, the veneration will continue as usual during these days. Only the wheel chair and the buggy car service will be stopped,” he said.
He also said that on December 27, the veneration gate will close at 5 pm, instead of the usual 6 pm, to accommodate the Shillong Chamber Choir’s performance in the cathedral hall.
Father Henry Falcão said almost two million people have visited the exposition so far and it is expected that in the coming days the crowd will increase.
